	Hi Sonia I wish to thank you Sincerely for your arranging our travels in Costa Rica. It was most delightful. When we were nervous about the rain and the bridge washing out, you immediately rescheduled us a wonderful hotel downtown then an unexpected excursion on the Calypso. The last 2 nights at the Best Western( we were concerned) until we arrived, and were very happy at the location, beach, city shopping. Thank you very much. We loved it. We hope to return to see the Volcanoes and Manuel Auturo Park at some point. Your country is beautiful. During our enquiry and booking stages your prompt assistance and coordination of our package was appreciated. During our trip everything ran so smoothly and we especially liked the fact that you included some less-touristy places (like Selva Bananito and Eco Termales). My only suggestion for improvement would be to let people know that the distances between places are large and travel time is long. We didn’t mind it, but would have liked to have been more aware of it. Oh, and the other thing I already mentioned: the Hotel Palma Real has a free shuttle service to the airport. Staff members are all long-term employees who take a great deal of pride in the hotel and its services. There were far more activities in the area around Turialba than we could have imagined. I just wanted to Thank you and let you know that Sarah and I had an incredible Costa Rican Adventure Vacation made possible by your patience and hard work! Although there was a lot of traveling, it was well worth it! The highlight for both Sarah and I was the Selvatura canopy tour! The guides were incredible knowledgeable and friendly, making us feel safe while also ensuring that we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. Each time I zipped to a new platform they would greet me with a huge smile and when asked how they were, they would respond "Pura Vida!" A phrase that I now use to sum up Costa Rica and my wonderful vacation there! Thank you again for accommodating us on a budget and with such short notice. I really appreciate your flexibility and your effort to provide the best vacation at a reasonable cost. Your have a lovely country filled with wonderful people. Thank you for helping us visit it. All of the Resorts & Hotels were excellent, as was the food. The dinner at the Heliconia was particularly good. The tours were superb! The guides made them even more special with their knowledge and humour. The jungle boat & hikes far exceeded our expectations. The turtle laying tour was a once in a life time experience, the canopy ride was really a thrill and the horse back ride gave us a chance to relax and see the beautiful scenery. Seeing the Arenal volcano was also very special. I can't believe all the wildlife we saw including 3 species of monkeys, sloth, iguanas, alligators, lizards, many special birds, bats, and huge insects . I felt like I was in a National Geographic article The transportation from one place to another was amazing. The coordination of the various vans and busses is a great skill. The drivers were always on time and courteous. If you ever want to use us as references or contacts, feel free. Once again Thank You very much! We want, all of us, to thank you for everything you did for us and for your kindness and your availability to help us or to answer to our questions during our stay. We really enjoyed all of our trip. Each part was different and it was the first time that adults and children were happy to do the same activities at the same time. We had the chance to see some turtles in Tortuguero We rode horses and discovered the charm of hot springs in Arenal and in Rincon de la Vieja We did rafting in Arenal and canoeing in Manuel Antonio We did sky trek in Monteverde We went for superb walks in Monteverde and in Osa And we loved everything we did and saw in Osa All the hotels were nice but we want to thank you for having insisted on choosing the hotel in Monteverde because it would be really a shame to go somewhere else!!! The swimming pool of the Diria Hotel was so wonderful but our favorite is the hotel in Osa becuase the place was so unbelievable and all the people were very very pleasant, helpful and the food was excellent. Costa Rican people are very pleasant and it´s very easy to travel (even if the roadas are sometimes awful) and to find very nice activities Once again, thank you for everything. And I think they enjoyed Manuel Antonio the most. Buth they wouldn´t have if we didn´t have such a fantastic guide and experience at Tortuguero. We saw enough wildlife there to sustain us for the whole trip. So, didn´t miss it when it was expectedly sparse at the more populated Manuel Antonio. Overall, it was the perfect combo of education and fun for Kate and Brad, which made it perfect for me too. Again, our guide at Laguna Lodge was the highlight. We are still talking about what we learned from her. Thank you for all your help. I didn´t appreciate what a resource you could be for us during the trip. But you were very helpful. I have already recommended to everyone I´ve talked to who has expressed even the slightest interest in visiting Costa Rica. Ruth Anderson Email: Drruth4@comcast.net Chicago January 2004 Sonia: Just a final note to thank you again for all of your excellent suggestions and the seamless itinerary you put together for us. It all went very well, and we were always very pleased with the quality of our accommodations. All of the activities were well suited to what we wanted to do. I still can't believe that we did everything in one week! Even the last day was spectacular. We found ourselves with a few hours at the San Jose airport, so we took a taxi up to the Poas volcano for an incredible view of the crater. As you mentioned, the Tabacon resort's hot springs were wonderful...not to be missed. Selva Bananito was the overall highlight of the week with their unusual presentation and the personable, family-like atmosphere. The "no-electricity' accommodations actually enhanced the experience. We enjoyed doing things like galloping on a horse and flying through the canopy that we probably couldn't have done in the US since everyone here is so worried about liabilities!. Good luck to you, and if anyone is asking for recommendations...send them my way!
